Our Services

  • We use the latest digital x-ray and laser diagnostic technologies, as well as years of experience to help you understand the health of your teeth. We’ll talk with you about:

The tooth decay on any portion of your teeth

The state of your current old-fashioned, mercury (silver) fillings

Risk factors that predispose you to tooth decay

And your desire to maintain a natural, white, and healthy smile for a lifetime

You’ll learn more about the advantages of composite fillings, as well as our process for removing decay, improving the health of your teeth and restoring your smile. Additionally, we may recommend alternative treatments like crowns, inlays, or onlays, which may be the only option in cases of serious and extensive decay.

  • Crowns are often the best option for people with badly decayed or broken teeth. When cavities and infection go untreated, they can eventually cause enough damage to the structure of a tooth that a regular filling isn’t enough to repair the damage. Teeth that have been fractured as a result of an injury or accident also need to be covered and protected, usually with a crown.

When you come into Coban Dentistry for a crown, we’ll use the latest digital x-ray and diagnostic technologies to determine the extent of the damage to your tooth structure. We’ll help you decide if a dental crown is a right choice for you.

If you decide to get a crown, we will:

Carefully clean and remove all the decay from your tooth

Make the 3D digital scanning or impression/model of your tooth

Use those 3D renderings or impressions to make a custom crown for you

Cement the new crown to the surface of your tooth

Crowns are custom-made for you, and we use tooth-colored porcelain so the result is extremely comfortable and in most cases indistinguishable from real teeth.

  • Sometimes teeth get so damaged or decayed that they can’t be saved. Having one or more missing teeth can cause a variety of health problems and cosmetic issues. What can you do about that empty space? A dental bridge may be one of the best options available to you.

At Coban Dentistry, we make it our mission to provide minimally invasive, long-term restoration options for missing teeth that look and feel natural. Fixed bridges function like real teeth, so they never need to be removed like dentures do. At Coban Dentistry we use the latest digital x-ray and diagnostic technologies to help determine if a bridge is the best choice for you.

  • Living with one or more missing teeth can affect the overall look and feel of your smile. It can also lead to a variety of health issues, including potential bite and jaw joint problems and bone loss in the jaw. Dental implants are the best way to avoid these issues and get your smile back. However, even though dental implants are one of the most effective and lasting restorative treatments, sometimes they may not be the best choice for you.

    Why Do Dental Implants Fail?

A dental implant replaces the roots of teeth. The implant attaches directly to your jawbone forming a secure, long-lasting bond. After about six months, when the implant is fully healed, an artificial tooth is attached to the top of the implant. The result is a natural looking, undetectable replacement for the missing tooth.

Although uncommon, dental implants can fail for several reasons, including failure to attach to the bone, infection, implant fracture, and bone loss. When you visit us for an implant restoration, we’ll consult with an oral surgeon so they understand exactly what’s going on and know how to fix your implant properly. In some cases we will place your implants at our office. Then, you’ll come back for the final restoration.

  • Dentures are custom-made dental appliances designed to replace missing teeth and restore your smile. Whether you need a full set or partial dentures, these prosthetics are crafted to fit comfortably in your mouth, providing a natural look and feel. Modern dentures are made from high-quality materials that mimic the appearance of real teeth, enhancing both function and aesthetics. They not only improve your ability to chew and speak but also support facial muscles, preventing the sagging that can occur with tooth loss. At our practice, we ensure that your dentures are tailored to your unique needs, offering you a comfortable and confident smile.

  • At Coban Dentistry, we offer professional Invisalign services to help you achieve a straighter smile without the hassle of traditional braces. Our team uses the latest technology to create custom-fitted, clear aligners that are virtually invisible and comfortable to wear. Invisalign is an effective solution for correcting a variety of dental issues, including overcrowding, gaps, and misalignment. Throughout your treatment, we provide personalized care and support to ensure the best results. Schedule a consultation today to see if Invisalign is right for you!

  • Your natural teeth are precious. You should do everything you can to keep them healthy. But if one does get infected due to injury or decay, we can help save it. At Coban Dentistry we use latest technologies that aid in the diagnosis and treatment planning.

Root canals are performed when decay enters the pulp chamber at the center of a tooth. This area is home to the nerves and blood supply for the tooth, which is why a particularly painful tooth might need a root canal. By removing the infected pulp, the pain and infection are eliminated and the tooth itself can be saved.

Do You Need a Root Canal?

Root canals are performed on teeth that become infected as a result of decay or injury. If you’re experiencing one of the following symptoms, we recommend you make an appointment for a full evaluation at our office:

Chronic tooth pain from contact with hot and cold liquids

Intense pain when biting down or when pressure is applied to your tooth

We will use digital x-ray technology and latest diagnostic technologies, as well as our experience diagnosing and treating tooth pain and decay, to determine if you need a root canal.

As part of this process, we will help you understand the health of your teeth, including:

Possible causes, and the extent of any tooth decay we find

The dangers an infection might pose

The options available to you for replacing the tooth structure removed as part of the root canal procedure

Your desire to maintain a natural, white, and healthy smile for a lifetime

  • Tooth Pain Treatments at Coban Dentistry

At Coban Dentistry, we prioritize your comfort and well-being in our comprehensive approach to tooth pain. Our experienced team, backed by top-notch technology, provides personalized treatment plans to address the root cause of your discomfort, including:

    Fillings

If your tooth pain is due to cavities or decay, a filling can be used to restore the tooth’s structure and alleviate discomfort.

    Root Canal

When the tooth’s pulp (inner tissue) becomes infected or damaged, a root canal may be necessary. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and sealing the tooth.

    Tooth Extraction

In cases of irreparable damage or severe infection, extraction may be recommended to eliminate the source of pain. We’ll then discuss replacement options such as implants or bridges.

    Dental Crowns

For teeth with extensive damage, dental crowns can provide structural support and protection, reducing sensitivity and pain.
